Join us in celebrating two decades of The Modern. This fall, we’re celebrating our milestone anniversary by partnering with friends and collaborators who embody The Modern’s dedication to craft, innovation, and seasonality.

We'll be hosting a series of special events in both The Bar Room and the Dining Room. Read on for the full lineup below:

The Modern X David Toutain

Chef Thomas Allan welcomes Chef David Toutain, the visionary behind his two Michelin-starred namesake restaurant in Paris, for a one-night-only collaborative tasting menu.

Deeply inspired by Toutain’s inventive approach to French cuisine, Allan first met the chef while working in New York City. Together, they’ll present a menu that highlights the very best of Restaurant David Toutain alongside seasonal classics from The Modern.

One-night-only specialty cocktail menu at the bar in collaboration with Martiny's. Walk-in to the bar and lounge or reserve a table in The Bar Room to enjoy dinner alongside limited-edition cocktails.

Martiny’s, founded by Takuma Watanabe, is an award-winning cocktail bar in a historic Gramercy townhouse. It’s been named to both the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars and North America’s 50 Best Bars for its refined, Japanese-influenced approach to mixology.

The Bar Room X COQODAQ

One-night-only specialty cocktail menu at the bar in collaboration with COQODAQ. Walk-in to the bar and lounge or reserve a table in The Bar Room to enjoy dinner alongside limited-edition cocktails.

COQODAQ, the latest venture from the team behind Michelin-starred Cote, has quickly earned a Bib Gourmand from the MICHELIN Guide. Known for its elevated take on Korean fried chicken and the largest Champagne list in the U.S.

The Bar Room X Paradise Lost

One-night-only specialty cocktail menu at the bar in collaboration with Paradise Lost. Walk-in to the bar and lounge or reserve a table in The Bar Room to enjoy dinner alongside limited-edition cocktails.

Located in New York’s East Village, Paradise Lost was ranked on North America’s 50 Best Bars extended list and was a 2024 Spirited Awards finalist for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar. The bar is celebrated for its tiki-inspired cocktails served in a tropical setting.
